How does the per-user price work?

Who counts as a "person" for pricing?

Any active person in your account with their own profile. This includes full-time, part-time, contractors, and interns. Admins who are also employees count once. Deactivated people do not count and are not billed.

Are admins included, or do they cost extra?

Admins are included at no extra cost. Free allows 1 admin. Starter, Growth, and Enterprise include unlimited admins.

Is there a minimum?

Starter has a minimum of 11 people ($44/month). Growth has a minimum of 51 people ($306/month). Smaller teams should start on Free.

Yes, anytime. Upgrade instantly, downgrade at the end of your billing cycle.

Is the free plan really free forever?

Yes. Free teams of up to 10 people get our core HR modules at no cost, with no time limit and no credit card required. We make money from paid plans, so Free stays free.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the month. Annual plans run their term, no auto-lock-in tricks.

Do you charge setup or onboarding fees?

No. Free and Starter are self-serve. Growth includes a free guided onboarding session. Enterprise includes white-glove onboarding.

Are African businesses still getting the 1-year-free offer?

Yes, businesses registered in Africa get Starter or Growth free for 12 months. Your rate is locked at the plan you sign up with.

How long does setup take?

Most teams are live in under 30 minutes. Import your people via CSV, set up your time off policies from our country-specific defaults, and invite your team. Growth and Enterprise plans include a guided onboarding session.

Can I import my existing employee data?

Yes. Import via CSV during setup. If you are coming from another HR tool, we can help map the fields. Growth and Enterprise customers get assisted imports as part of onboarding.

How many countries does Cedrios support?

Cedrios currently supports country-specific compliance for Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Egypt. We add new countries based on customer demand. Ask us about your country if you do not see it listed.

Can I manage a team split across multiple countries?

Yes. People in your account can each be assigned to their own country, and Cedrios applies the right leave defaults, holidays, and compliance rules to each person automatically.

What about attendance, performance, payroll, and other modules?

Those are on our roadmap as additional modules. Current customers will get early access when they ship.

Where is my data stored, and is it secure?

Data is stored on encrypted servers with role-based access controls and regular backups. We follow data protection best practices aligned with POPIA, NDPR, Kenya DPA, and other regional data protection laws.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

You can export your data (people, documents, time off records) at any time from the settings area. After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days in case you want to reactivate, then permanently deleted.
